Wicker Park Fest 2011 Announces Final Lineup

Wicker Park Fest is fairly well-known as an adequate alternative to Pitchfork or Lolla if you’re broke, drunk and squint your eyes a lot. But kidding aside, this year’s lineup is pretty tight.
We knew back in April that favorites like Wavves, Wild Flag, Flosstradamus, California Wives, and Blitzen Trapper would be playing. But now add to that list Netherfriends, Dastardly, Loyal Divide, Company of Thieves, Van Ghost and a whole slew of local and national acts comprising a 45-band lineup. Check out the full schedule below.
As usual, the line-up is divided into three stages - the North Stage booked by Subterranean and House Call Entertainment, the Center Stage programmed by Evil Olive and Big Creek Productions, and the South Stage presented by Smoke Daddy and Silver Wrapper. The fest in whole is presented by and benefits the Wicker Park & Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, which needs your $5 donation so they can keep improving their musical lineup year after year.
Wicker Park Fest takes place Saturday-Sunday, July 23-24 on Milwaukee Ave between North and Wood, noon-10:00 p.m. both days, $5 suggested donation
