As we put what's been a mild and rainy June in the record books the mercury is taking the express lane toward scorching heat. Today's forecast from Skilling Central is in line with what usually should be this time of year: a high in the upper 80s with some clouds and increasing humidity. If you're the kind of person who can't stand the heat, break out the box fans and air conditioning units today as Skilling is forecasting triple digit temps for the first time in six years Friday.
