70-Pound Tortoise Stolen From Exotic Pet Store (Update: Found)
Someone broke into an exotic pet store in Lincolnwood and took off with a 70-pound female tortoise named Spur. The animal is worth $1,500, but the owner thinks the animals epic feces will convince the thief he's done wrong.
"The first time it takes a dump in your bedroom, you're going to be sorry," he said.The tortoise has a lot of friends who will miss her. She appeared at birthday parties and local fairs. Let's all hope Spur is leaving the thief a big steamy pile right now.
UPDATE 4:00 p.m.:Spur has been returned to her owner a little scared, but okay.
