Michael Jordan: Master Pitchman

We've opined about Michael Jordan's abilities as a marketing pitchman before. Basketball's GOAT has a Midas Touch when it comes to shilling.

We had no clue, however, that Jordan once did a commercial for ladies hair products. Deadspin reminded us of that a couple of days back. The spot is one of those "oooh-la-la" spots mid-80's Afro Sheen spots tended to veer toward, with Jordan asking the female reporter in the ad, "Can I do a story on you... and your beautiful hair?" as the two walk off to have a Q&A over Coca-Cola and Wheaties in MJ's Chevy Celebrity.

Anyway, we've included the Soul-Glo spot with other ads the young Jordan did during his early days for your enjoyment. We're particularly fond of the Coca-Cola "Moon" ad and the MCI ad, which reminds us there used to be some competition for AT&T.
