Nationals 5, Cubs 4

It must be frustrating to lose three consecutive games by one run like the Cubs have at Nationals Park. For the Cubs, it's the way they're giving up that extra run that adds another loss to their record. Michael Morse scored on a squeeze play by Wilson Ramos with Kerry Wood to provide the margin of victory for Washington. Danny Espinosa and Ryan Zimmerman each hit two-run home runs off Randy Wells, who admitted to media after the game that he's looking forward to the All-Star Break. Carlos Pena and Aramis Ramirez also hit two-run dingers for the Cubs, who now travel to Pittsburgh to take on the surprising Pirates for a three-game series.
