2011_7_11Menu.png It's been quite a year for Brandon Baltzley. Recently finished with rehab, Baltzley has jumped back into the food scene with both feet. CRUX, a collaboration between Baltzley, Emmanuel Cadengo (of Longman and Eagle) and Jaimee Vitolo (of Moxie, in Cleveland) is hosting its first pop-up dinner on Friday, August 19th. All the profits after expenses will be donated to the Chicago Recovery Alliance.

Watch the video for a demonstration by Baltzley of some of the things you might eat. The location has not yet been disclosed (ticket-holders will be told before the event), but it's going to be a doozy - a high-rise with a beautiful lake view. The price is $100 for 10 courses. The dinner is BYOB, and they recommend that you bring a pilsner, a red and a white. Sounds like a good time! Seatings start at 5.
