Fire Move Up Start, Offer Free Admission
Free this afternoon and got a way to get to Bridgeview? The Chicago Fire have announced that tonight's game start time has been moved forward to 5 p.m. from its originally scheduled 7:30 p.m. because Toyota Park remains without power following yesterday's storm. As we know from last night's Chicagoist - RedEye softball game, it hard to play without lights!
Because of the early start, the Fire are offering free admission to the general public and free parking to the game against the New York Red Bulls. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. with general admission seating. Those with existing tickets will have their seat locations honored, and all fans with previously purchased tickets will be issued refunds on their tickets next week.
