Your Morning Wake-Up Call for July 13, 2011
We're once again at midweek and there are some slight discrepancies between the forecasts from Skilling Central and Accuweather. Both are calling for the coolest temps around here in nearly a month, but with the overcast skies outside our window, we're giving the nod to Accuweather. Neither of them predicted the rash of clouds that formed around 7 p.m. yesterday and the light rain that followed. (We were hoping for another derecho.) Wonder what the weather was like on this date in 1894 when Patrick Eugene Prendergast was executed for the assassination of Mayor Carter Harrison, Sr.
