Teenager Dies in Police Custody

A 17-year-old arrested on a charge of heroin possession died this morning in police custody. Mark Haynie was arrested last night on the 900 block of North Trumbull Avenue. Haynie was found unresponsive in his cell at 5:30 a.m.

An autopsy on Haynie is inconclusive, pending results of a toxicology test.
