If you've been waiting until the last minute to buy your new city sticker for your automobile, the last minute is here.

Those who haven't purchased a city sticker have until 11:59 p.m. to do so. If you don't want to queue at City Hall or City Clerk Susana Mendoza's two satellite offices for the $75 stickers, you can pay an extra $5.50 and buy them at currency exchanges across the city and Dominick's locations.

Residents of the 33rd and 37th Wards can visit their respective ward offices and buy city stickers. Dick Mell's office at 3649 N. Kedzie will sell them until 4 p.m. Sales at 37th Ward Ald. Emma Mitts' office at 5344 W. North Ave. have until 3 p.m.

The Expired Meter reports that city sticker sales, spurred by online purchases, are up by about $2 million over this same time last year. If you don't purchase a sticker and have it in your front windshield by tonight, you run the risk of a $120 ticket tomorrow.
