Marilyn at Pioneer Court is Complete

The giant Marilyn Monroe statue at Pioneer Court is completed and will be flashing her panties to workers at Tribune Tower, NBC Tower, 401 N. Michigan, tourists and anyone else that passes her through spring of next year. Like the former American Gothic statue that once graced Pioneer Court, you can take it to the bank that Seward Johnson's 26-foot tribute to Monroe will quickly become a tourist attraction.

Oh. My. God.  What a monstrosity.  At lunch, I was walking along Wacker near Columbus.  There was no way anyone could miss this tacky eyesore, even from there.  My only hope is that, after some time, it will eventually blend into the scenery.
