Your Morning Wake-Up Call for July 15, 2011
It's Friday and the humidity is back. Skilling Central calls it "not oppressive." Bullshit. We're sticking to our office chair right now. There's only two types of non-oppressive humidity: the ones in winter that prevent dry skin and nosebleeds and the ones that keep cigars and meats from drying out. This humidity calls for rain and Accuweather says there's a chance for a shower early. Otherwise, the predicted high of around 85 is simpatico with us. Wonder how humid it was when Italo Balbo and his squadron landed their planes in Chicago as part of the 1933 World's Fair activities on this date. (Balbo was a fascist, you know?)
