KISS Meets the Neo Futurists

Now in its tenth year, the Neo-Futurists' "It Came From the Neo Futurarium" takes the worst movie scripts and turns them into local theater gold.

Kicking off the second half of this summer's series Thursday night is a re-staging of the 1978 made-for-tv movie KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park. This movie, in which Gene, Paul, Ace and Peter must save an amusement from a mad scientist intent on making robot clones of people, royally sucked when we first watched it on television and were a member in good standing in the KISS Army.

The Neo-Futurists previously staged this play in 2006. On Thursday directors John Pierson and Steve Walker will tackle this wonderfully terrible piece of KISS history Thursday with a makeshift band in full makeup. Sounds like hot fun in the summertime. Buy tickets here.
