Lolla's Coming To YouTube

Are you bummed that Lollapalooza's completely sold out and you don't have a ticket? It was announced that while those of us that'll be there will be melting in the heat you can enjoy the festival's performances from the comfort of your own living room! YouTube is partnering with the festival to stream footage all weekend long. We still don't know who is and isn't inlcuded but according to Perry Farrell you can, "Be a voyeur to this year's Lollapalooza. Watch as musicians offer their souls and the crowd devours them. You just may forget that you aren't really there."
OK, we doubt that'll quite be the case, but it is a positive move towards opening Lollapalooza up to the world, even though there's sure to be folks that whine about either who won't allow their act to be streamed or is overlooked. Heck, it's become a summer ritual to complain about Lollapalooza scheduling conflicts, right? Now we can expand the arguments outside the boundaries of Grant Park to include the whole world!
