This Weekend in Street Fests

We wrap up July this weekend by looking towards Pilsen and Fiesta del Sol. The annual festival shuts down Cermak Road from Morgan Street to Ashland and offers something for the whole family, from live music and a carnival thoroughfare, to a children's area and healthy living pavilion. It's free to enter, but you can buy an unlimited carnival ride pass for $45.

Out in Hyde Park, the South East Chicago Commission presents the Celebrate Hyde Park Summer Festival tomorrow and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Enjoy music on three different stages ranging from local disc jockeys and dancing to headliners Roy Ayers (Saturday) and WAR (Sunday). (53rd St. between Harper and Kimbark)

This month's Randolph Street Market in and around the Plumbers Hall Building (1340 W. Washington St.) features 200 vendors of furnishings, vintage clothing, jewelry, and collectibles. (10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets $8 online or $10 at the gate.)
