We've given you some basic survival tips and now it's time to give you a few suggestions about who to see (and maybe a few bands you'll be OK skipping) this weekend at Lollapalooza. We asked a few of our writers to share their personal views so feel free to agree or disagree. We just like to get the conversation started. And this is by no means all-inclusive so let us know who you're seeing!

Must see

Grouplove: Saturday, Sony Stage, 12 p.m.
This bouncy little group blends pop and rock with dance and sunshine to create one of the most immediately winning musical mixtures this year. It's really sugary, and we're not 100% convinced there's any nutritional value in there, but we like it anyway. -Tankboy

Black Lips: Saturday, PlayStation Stage, 3 p.m.
One might think we need another garage rock band like we need a head-piercing hole in our head. In the case of Black Lips though, it turns out they're a welcome addition to the genre. Their live shows are chaotic, sweaty, intense and a whole lot of fun. - Tankboy

Death From Above 1979: Saturday, Bud Light Stage, 4 p.m.
If you want to watch a crowd go apeshit and possibly scare the crap out of you, it's this set that's most likely to trigger that this year. The reunited duo strip rock down to its bare essentials, add a heaping layer of menace and then turn the volume way up. -Tankboy

Patrick Stump: Saturday, BMI Stage, 5 p.m.
On his most recent EP, this hometown once-punk turned sharply down the street called soul. There was an R&B heart at the core of his previous band Fall Out Boy, but Stump has given himself over completely to the rhythm and sheen.

Cee Lo: Saturday, Music Unlimited Stage, 6:30 p.m.
Cee Lo's on quite the winning run and while overstuffed schedules might spread lesser men too thin, he seems to handle it all with style. His last album was one of our favorites from last year and we expected its Motown meets modern pop to translate well to the stage. - Tankboy

Eminem: Saturday, Music Unlimited Stage, 8:30 p.m.
We always forget that Eminem is not only a superstar but one of the last folks in the music industry who can still actually sell metric tons of CDs. We always respected his verbal skills but never really got into his whole thing, but we are obviously in the minority. We're expecting him to bring the braggadocio and over-the-top intensity that won him such a large following to the stage tonight. If that happens it could be one of the more memorable Lollapalooza sets. If he doesn't, my Morning Jacket plays for about 7 hours at a time so you can stroll to the opposite end of the park and catch them.

Maybe not...

The Pretty Reckless: Saturday, BMI Stage, 6:15
I doubt this would be an interesting set unless you are a misguided 15-year-old. Plus, Taylor Momsen (of Gossip Girl fame disdain) is more popular for the way she looks these days rather than for her musical abilities. - Soyoung Kwak
