Morning Box Score: White Sox Win Streak at Four

By Chuck Sudo in News on Aug 9, 2011 1:00PM

White Sox 7, Orioles 6

Fresh off a sweep of the Minnesota Twins, the White Sox headed to Camden Yards hoping to keep the chains moving forward. They needed a rally in the eighth inning to do it. Alex Rios' single scored Carlos Quentin, allowing Sergio Santos to enter the game in the ninth inning and strike out the side. John Danks pitched 6-1/3 innings in a no-decision, while Gordon Beckham and AJ Pierzynski homered for the Sox, who matched their season-high winning streak at four games.

The Cubs and Washington Nationals were rained out at Wrigley Field last night.
