Your Morning Wake-Up Call for August 10, 2011
We wrote yesterday to turn off your air conditioners. Today's forecast is why. This is the first of two days where the mercury gets just shy of 80 degrees. Skilling Central is predicting a high of 77. Accuweather concurs. That puts the predicted high temperature five degrees below normal and we're glad for that. Share Our Strength's Taste of the Nation is this evening at Navy Pier's Grand Ballroom and with all the open flames from the chef in attendance we'll need every advantage we can get to keep from losing water weight like we did at last year's event.
