Cubs 4, Washington 2

The Cubs turned on the power last night and won one on a night when the team unveiled a statue to the late Ron Santo. Alfonso Soriano, Geovany Soto and Reed Johnson each sent balls out of the park. More important, Rodrigo Lopez held the vaunted Nationals lineup in check for 5-1/3 innings before handing the game over to the bullpen and Carlos Marmol, who picked up his 25th save and looks like he's fully regained his early season form.

Baltimore 6, White Sox 4 (10 Innings)

Philip Humber's course correction from his strong start to the season continued. Humber gave up four runs on 11 hits over six innings. But a seventh-inning rally highlighted by a two-run single by Juan Pierre sent the game at Camden Yards into extra innings. Once there, Jason Frasor served up a game-winning two-run homer to Nolan Reimold. The Sox' modest five-game win streak is over and the team remains two games under .500
