Astronaut Photographs Chicago From Space

Astronaut Ron Garan is currently serving on the International Space Station. Garan took these photos of Chicago from space around 3:15 a.m. yesterday. The first shot clearly outlines the city along Lake Michigan. The second photo below, with a storm front brewing to the west, is even more impressive.
This is why some children grow up to be astronauts, people.
