Cubs TV play-by-play man Len Kasper called today's loss "the most frustrating loss of the season." Apparently Kasper already forgot about last night's game-ending salami given up by Carlos Marmol. Casey Coleman, filling in for you-know-who in the rotation, wasn't good. Coleman gave up four runs and 10 hits in less than four innings of work, although the bullpen held Houston scoreless the rest of the way. Aramis Ramirez hit a two-run home run and Geovany Soto added a solo shot for the Cubs, who ended their road trip 3-3.
