The Counter Makes Good on Free Fry-Day Promise
When the national debt ceiling crisis had us on our toes a few weeks ago, national restaurant chain The Counter promised free fries in exchange for voters calling their elected officials to ask them to resolve the deal by the Aug. 2 deadline. Well, Congress avoided ending the world, so today is Free Fries Fry-day at The Counter.
All guests receive a complimentary single order of regular fries or sweet potato fries today. Limit one single fries order per guest with any purchase. Dine-in only. The deal is available at all locations. The Counter's Chicago location is in Lincoln Park at 666 W. Diversey. This is probably the best tasting part of the debt ceiling deal.
