Monday Afternoon Diversion: What You Don't See at the Air and Water Show

This weekend was Chicago's 53rd Air and Water Show (in case you didn't hear the sound barrier being repeatedly broken over the city's skies this weekend). And while this year's show was full of daredevil stunts and feats of physics and aeronautics, we didn't get to see either wing walkers, or (fortunately) any injuries.

Here's a video of a pretty daring skydiver jumping between airplanes. Take that, Golden Knights.

  • It's a hell of a stunt for the jumpers. It's more of a hell of a stunt for the pilot of the second plane, who puts the thing in a stable freefall for at least a minute and a half, then presumably pulls out of it. (We didn't see that part, of course.)
