Man Throws Hissy Fit Over Late Burger at Portillo's
A man threw a fistful of coins at a Portillo's manager in Naperville because he was angry that he waited too long for his burger. Michael A. Ramirez, 54, went through the drive-thru and ordered a hamburger and a drink. But then he apparently waited over 20 minutes for his food. The Sun-Times writes:
After paying for his food, Ramirez went inside the restaurant to complain, and began swearing at the manager, who told Ramirez to leave the restaurant, [Naperville police Sgt. John] Westlove said.“And that’s when (Ramirez) took a handful of change and threw it at the manager,” he said.
Police later arrested Ramirez at his home. The manager of the Portillo's was not injured.
