A man threw a fistful of coins at a Portillo's manager in Naperville because he was angry that he waited too long for his burger. Michael A. Ramirez, 54, went through the drive-thru and ordered a hamburger and a drink. But then he apparently waited over 20 minutes for his food. The Sun-Times writes:

After paying for his food, Ramirez went inside the restaurant to complain, and began swearing at the manager, who told Ramirez to leave the restaurant, [Naperville police Sgt. John] Westlove said.

“And that’s when (Ramirez) took a handful of change and threw it at the manager,” he said.

Police later arrested Ramirez at his home. The manager of the Portillo's was not injured.

Thank God Ramirez is eating at Portillo's. That ought to get his high blood pressure and anger-management issues back under control.

    Skokie is also pretty slow.

  • That particular Portillo's IS pretty slow though.
