Lupe Fiasco's Middle School Tour Rider

The wonderful folks at The Smoking Gun shared an excerpt from Lupe Fiasco's tour rider yesterday. It reads like the tour rider of a 7th grader.

Under "snacks" Lupe's management requires peanut M&M's, Lay's BBQ and sour cream and onion potato chips, assorted Hershey's and Reese's candy, Starburst fruit chews, gum, beef jerky, Snicker's, Doritos and honey roasted cashews.

The piece de resistance is an "Ice crème sundae bar" stocked with three flavors of Breyer's ice cream, sprinkles, hot fudge, warm brownies, hot apple pie and Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Lupe's dentist must be making a ton of money.

Other items on the excerpted rider include an Xbox 360 with assorted fight games; Cap'n Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Frosted Flakes: deli trays (no pork: Lupe's Muslim); fresh Jamba Juice orders and an inflatable bed with fresh sheets, pillows and a down comforter.

I did a show with Ice Cube last Winter and he had buckets of KFC on his rider....Lupe's doesn't look that strange.

If I could demand Jamba Juice whever I went, I would.

I worked at a club in NYC for a while and part of my job was to go get "band candy" before the evening's act arrived. No euphamism there... just candy and cookies. They liked it.
