Chuck Sudo/Chicagoist

Mayor Emanuel's inaugural committee released the full list of donors to his inauguration. The list if full of heavy hitters who had previously contributed to his mayoral campaign - shocking, we know.

Those donations paid off for Grosvenor Capital Management CEO Michael Sacks. Sacks and wife Cari each contributed $25,000 to the inaugural fund. Sacks was also recently appointed by Emanuel as as vice chairman of World Business Chicago. Grosvenor employees donated more than $400,000 to Emanuel's mayoral campaign fund.

Other donors included Johnson Publishing executive and former White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers; Investor Lew Manilow; The Chicago Board Options Exchange; The law firm of Sidley, Austin; Former Daley Chief of Staff Roger Kiley; GEM Realty Capital investor Barry Malkin; book store owner Jodi Block; Winmark Corp. CEO John L. Morgan; private equity investor Donald Edwards; and The Options Clearing Corp. Each donated $25,000 to the cause.

The funds raised covered the cost of Emanuel's inauguration in Millennium Park, security for Vice-President Joe Biden and other presidential cabinet members; and the cost of the free concert before the inauguration.
