The latest data set added to the city's open data portal is a list of crime reports dating back to 2001.

The data was extracted from the Police Department's CLEAR (Citizen Law Enforcement Analysis and Reporting) system and, in order to protect the privacy of the victims, exact addresses of the crimes have been narrowed to the block where the crimes occurred.

The data set is updated only to last week, but search for, say, homicides, and you'll find the police department was pretty busy Labor Day weekend.
