Even though 8th District Rep. Joe Walsh wasn't in court today in the latest round with ex-wife Laura over their ongoing back child support payment fight, he had his pee-pee whacked just the same.

Judge Raul Vega issued a preliminary ruling against Walsh, letting the congressman's attorney know the burden of proof is now on him to show he doesn't owe Laura Walsh $117,000 in back child support payments. Vega also scolded Janet Boyle, Joe Walsh's new attorney, for her client not showing up and said he expects to see the congressman show up for their next hearing in November.

Boyle, intent on making a lasting first impression with Vega, asked, "for what purpose" before reminding the judge her client was a U.S. Congressman. Vega replied, "Well, he’s no different than anyone else."

Boyle also said Walsh likely would drop a motion to have his ex-wife's financial details subpoenaed, which Laura Walsh's attorney has called "harassment."
