Do This: Izard Vs. Tentori Quickfire Cooking Competition

IzardF&W.jpg The Boka restaurant group has been hosting "Quickfire" cooking competitions for a couple of month, pitting different executive chefs from their all-star lineup against each other in Iron Chef/Reality Television type contests. It's great PR, but here's the important part for you - tickets are free. Really. Free. Considering how hard it is to get into Girl & the Goat, it's probably worth reading on.

We feel like radio announcers saying this, but starting at 10 AM today, the first 100 people to call 312-981-7070 will get free tickets to the next Quickfire challenge. Free tickets mean you get to be judges, you get free food and you get to watch the show. The next 75 after that get to watch and drink free drinks. This is a pretty awesome deal, especially considering Izard and Tentori are two of the best chefs in Chicago.

The actual competition will take place next Wednesday, September 21. Start dialing!

I just called and reserved spaces for the spectator tickets. They're out of the judging tickets.

  • Did someone actually pick up and you get through? The voicemail message threw me off.

  • Hmm. I got a voicemail box that couldnt take messages, but you could leave a call back number. Did so. And now the number is busy. Anyone else have luck?
