Watch Cave Krautrocking Out In A Mobile Truck

large.jpg If any local music fans were wondering about the logistics of Cave’s mobile truck stunt, they now have video proof of how it went, courtesy of Drag City and Gonzo Chicago.

To promote their new LP, Neverendless, quartet Cave took to playing a live show on the back of a mobile truck. The band took their caravan of rock down Milwaukee Avenue, past hipster hallmarks like New Wave Coffee, toward Damen Avenue, where they stopped just past the crotch to play in front of Earwax Café and Myopic Books.

There, the caravan ended, after complaints from what the Drag City blog describes as “a certain used book store” (hmm…) drew the attention of the five-o. Watch the seven-minute video, with excellent music and annoying interstitial dial tones, below, and be sure to stick around til the end for the guy calling the band either "fuckin' dope addicts" or "buncha dope addicts."
