Groupon COO Jumps Back to Google
Groupon just lost another executive. Chief Operating Officer Margo Georgiadis is heading back to Google after five months with the deal-a-day giant whose bubble is looking more like a lead balloon since filing their IPO prospectus.
Margo Georgiadis
Prior to joining Groupon, Georgiadis was Google's Vice President of Global Sales Operations, where she organized the company's sales operations and strategies and helped to successfully monetize Google's products with advertisers and publishers.
Georgiadis' resignation was announced via regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. No explanation was given for her leaving Groupon, so speculate to your heart's content.
