Leo's Coney Island Closes
Leo's Coney Island on Southport announced they were ceasing operations last night via, where else, Twitter.

Depending on where you fall on the Coney dog and/or Detroit nostalgia spectrum, this is news that's either expected or a betrayal of everything you hold dear about Detroit-style chili dogs. We were never enamored with Leo's take on a Coney dog, which we called "open-faced sadness." And we weren't alone.
At least we have Karl's recipe to tide us. He can use it, too, while he laments missing Leo's $3 Bell's.
