Guillen Introduced as Marlins Manager

Well, that didn't take long, did it? Little more than 36 hours after Guillen's departure from the White Sox dugout was announced, the Florida Marlins have introduced Ozzie Guillen as their new skipper.
"Welcome to a new era in Marlins baseball," owner Jeffrey Loria said, referring to his new manager and the new stadium the Marlins will move into in 2012. Guillen takes the helm from 80-year-old Jack McKeon, who stepped in when Edwin Rodriguez resigned as Marlins manager in June.
Sources suggested that Loria offered Guillen a four-year contract worth around $16 million. Because the Sox released Guillen from the final year of his contract so he could join the Marlins, they will receive compensation in the form of two minor leaguers believed to be right-handed reliever Jhan Marinez and infielder Osvaldo Martinez.
While Loria has known Guillen for 20 years and seems ecstatic to have Ozzie managing his club, we're curious to see how well he handles Ozzie's inevitable firestorms. Similarly strong willed Joe Girardi only lasted one year in Miami despite of winning NL Manager of the Year. If Loria and Girardi couldn't co-exist, how does he expect to do so with Ozzie?
