Derrick Rose's new Adidas ad may have him dodging matadors on his way to the hoop. (Because he's a Bull, get it?)

But it also captures so much more.

The eagle eyes of one of Prescott Carlson's sons noticed D-Rose is sporting some new tattoos on his shoulders: "19" and "88" in Olde English script. 1988, of course, being the year the reigning NBA MVP was born.

It's nice to see the youth of America is paying attention. There's hope for this country yet.

  • good thing he wasn't born in 1488, then he'd be a white supremacist.

I love me some Derrick Rose, but Adidas isn't
the only party trying to benefit from Rose's athletic noteriety. In the case of
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the publicity stunt in this humor video wasn't as
well-thought out as the sneaker commercial. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... and leave a comment.
