Fountainhead Goes Pumpkin Crazy This Halloween

Pumpkin beer.

Fountainhead is hosting a party on Halloween that's taking pumpkin beer a step further. the highlight of their "Great Punk’n Party" isn't the punk music or the pumpkin-themed menu for the evening. It's the beer.

Fountainhead beer director Phil Kuhl will be running two pumpkin beers - Southern Tier PumKing & Uinta Punk’n - through two large pumpkins to add to the flavor. Don't laugh: one of our favorite beers from Goose Island's Belgian Fest in August was a lemongrass saison run through a lemongrass filter. The flavor was off the charts. If Kuhl can achieve a similar amping of flavor here, these beers won't last the night.
