Schmidt to run for re-election (a better use of her connections)
State Sen. Suzi Schmidt, who last we checked was telling a 911 operator to ignore any calls from her husband,is moving forward with her "nothing to see here" narrative.

Schmidt said she intends to remain in office and run for re-election. The fundraising will make a better use of her connections than allegedly threatening her prowling husband with them.
Schmidt apologized for her "lapse in judgment" again and said:
"I believe I can and will continue to serve the citizens of Lake County with the same dedication and energy I've had for the past 25 years, and the issues in my personal life will not prohibit me from doing the job they elected me to do."
