Meet the Press Comes to Chicago Tomorrow

21011_10_8_MTP.jpg The last time NBC brought its Sunday news program Meet the Press to Chicago was during the 1996 Democratic National Convention. Tomorrow Meet the Press will broadcast from the Museum of Contemporary Art at 8 a.m. The show won't air in Chicago until 11 a.m. after NBC 5's coverage of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon ends.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel will be on the program with host David Gregory discussing the early months of his mayoralty and his time as President Obama's chief of staff. We would also expect Gregory to aim for some "Gotcha" journalism and try to trip up Emanuel with some questions about his involvement in the growing Solyndra scandal.

Also expected on the program: a roundtable with Rep. Aaron Schock (R-IL), Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Vanity Fair's Bethany McLean (co-author, All the Devils are Here), and TIME Magazine's Mark Halperin. Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan will also make an appearance to once again explain why we must sacrifice for the rich people in this country.
