Queer Film
The Queer Film Society is hosting "Queer Vision," a benefit, from 7-10 p.m. tonight at Sidetrack (3349 N. Halsted). It's an evening of non-stop LGBT content ranging from film and television to Broadway and comedy. They'll also have a preview of November's Reeling 30gay and lesbian film festival. Chicagoist's Rob Christopher will be there, handing out drink tickets. Say hi to him if you show up.

Shaw's Crab House is preparing for its 23rd annual Royster with the Oyster Festival with its Oyster Hall of Fame dinner Thursday night. this year's honoree is Alex Mallidis, Founder of Captain Alex Seafood.
