Do This: "Brew Hey Hey"
5 Rabbit may be the local brewery incorporating Latin flavors into their beers but they aren't alone. Homebrewers across the area have been doing it for a while.
Take, for example, Corazon Brew, a group of local homebrewers who incorporate bold Latino flavors in their brewing. The group is set to share their creations with beer geeks on Oct. 29 at the Chicago Urban Arts Society space in Pilsen (2229 S. Halsted). From 2-7 p.m., you'll get to try 6 samples and a sizable hand held food item from Chef Won Kim, all for only $15. Since this falls on Halloween weekend, there's also a costume contest. Costumes are not required but highly encouraged as there will be a contest with a very special prize. Tickets will be available at the door.
