A new study in the scientific journal PLoS One (which would also make a good MC name, in our opinion) showed that the Tyrannosaurus Rex may have been larger than we expected. As much as 30 percent larger.

The computational analysis of limb and body dimensions on the T-Rex would have placed the size of a larger member of the species like the Field Museum's Sue at 9 tons. The Field's curator of dinosaurs, Peter Makovicky, said the 30 percent size increase was way more than expected.

Imagine the size of the boots Sue would have had to wear to look fashionable in a Chicago winter.
