Restaurant News: Cooking Up a Cure and Lillie's Q Launches Meat Mobile Tomorrow

  • Skipping Monday night football tomorrow evening? Snag a ticket to Cooking Up a Cure, which supports the Scleroderma Foundation with lots of delicious bites. Held at Salvage One, the third annual event will feature food from City Provisions, Hot Chocolate, David Burke's Primehouse, Small Bar, Uncommon Ground, and other area restaurants. Tickets are $125 and available here.

  • The latest restaurant to launch a food truck is Lillie's Q, whose Meat Mobile hits the road tomorrow. The cash-only Meat Mobile offers a choice of pulled pork or chicken sandwiches on brioche, with a side of cole slaw or baked beans, and one of five sauces.
