Happy Monday, everyone. A couple of weeks back we were enjoying temperatures in the mid to high 70s. Today, savor the last day in the low 60s until the end of the week. Starting tomorrow get some practice in how to dress for November with temperatures 8-10 degrees cooler than today.
On this date in Chicago history, six people died in a fire in the Cook County Administration building in 2003. In 2006, the Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange announced an $8 billion merger. Actor George Wendt was born on this date in 1948 and astronaut Mae Jemison was born in Decatur, AL in 1956.
