Celebrate the Harvest with Green City Market's Junior Board

Halloween parties are already starting to pop up, and they also make a nice primer for the holiday soiree season. Molly's already given the food lovers some costume suggestions. Consider dressing up in one of them and heading to Green City Market Junior Board's Masquerade de Mercado Oct. 30.

A dozen chefs, including Junior Board members Tony Galzin of mk and Old Town Social's Jared Van Camp, are participating in the event. There will be live drawings featuring dinner packages, theater tickets and more. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to support Green City Market's educational programming and upcoming winter market at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.

Green City Market Junior Board's Masquerade de Mercado, 4-8 p.m. Oct. 30 at Carnivale (702 W. Fulton Market). Tickets are $65 and on sale online.
