McDonald's Adds McBites to Menu Next Year

Part of the reason for McDonald's success in recent years is the company's expanding of their menu to incorporate both bargain menu items and the occasional limited run special. (McRib, anyone?)

The Oak Brook-based company will add "Chicken McBites" to its menu in early spring 2012 for a limited national run. The Golden Arches' take on popcorn chicken was tested in Detroit and Australia and, if Facebook comments are a measure of success, McDonald's customers Down Under were left wanting more.

Other additions to their menu next year include a slushie called a Cherry Berry Chiller, a blueberry banana nut oatmeal, and additional flavors to other menu items.
