Video: Occupy Chicago Protesters Drown Out Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker

We'd heard about some Occupy Chicago protesters crashing a speech by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker at the Union League Club last week, and we thought it was neat to think of folks interrupting the man who, in their words, "vilified unions" in Wisconsin. But now that we have video evidence of them shutting down the event, we are downright impressed at how well organized the group Stand Up! Chicago was in taking complete control over the event, then chanting "We are the 99 percent."

Free speech .... only for the Liberals , obviously

  • brotherfloyd

spare me.  it's not about liberal or conservative.  it's about the working class getting a fair shake.  the wealthy class own the media and most politicians and get plenty of air time.  it's time the "job creators" pay their fair share.  at the very least the working class should not have to bail the wealthy class out of their bad bets or even worse continue to pay for the wars with not only our relatives lives but our children's financial future as well.

Free speech for me, not for you!

  • ChicagoD

Yay! Neither side understands what free speech means! Yay!

    Judge D has spoken.

I suppose it's appropriate that a bootlicker like Walker would make a speech here at a private, elite club that used to exclude Jews and blacks.

    "Free Speech" lmfao.

Good for these folks for heckling that rat.  Heroes imho.  Nice work.
