Big Star Celebrates Two Years With Big Beer Blowout

In just two years, Big Star has become a mainstay in the crotch heart of Wicker Park, with stellar tacos, a large whiskey selection and strong margaritas. To mark the occasion, they're throwing a party -- not like they've ever had trouble filling the restaurant to the brim. We've never waited less than 30 minutes to get a table. We suspect you'll have to get there early to snag a table tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Sticking with the "two" theme, Big Star is offering $2 beers, $2 shots and $2 tacos. Three Floyds is taking over the beer taps to offer some rare beers, including the elusive Zombie Dust. Plus, DJs will spin all night, and they're also offering a special t-shirt designed by Chicago artist Tony Fitzpatrick.

That's the face of the crotch right there.  The ass would be the people parading their triplets down the sidewalk in their fertility drug carts.

  • Ahahaha!

  • If they're sticking with the theme, isn't Three Floyds one Floyd too many?

  • So, Two Brothers?

  • Is Zombie Dust really that elusive? They've had it at Big Star the last three times I've been there (as well as at a bunch of other bars).

  • Screw Big Star.

  • mickcube
