A man who was charged in the murder of a security guard at a South side Aldi grocery store was found hanged in his jail cell yesterday.

52-year-old Develt Bradford was found hanging by what was believed to be pajama or sweat pants he was wearing underneath his regular pants, according to News Affairs officer Robert Perez. Bradford was charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery for the Nov. 10 holdup, which left 54-year-old Reginald Lanier dead and a 67-year-old woman injured. Bradford was also charged with an Oct. 28 robbery of another Aldi.
