Do This: The DIY Trunk Show

Keep your holiday spending local this year by picking out presents at Chicago Craft Mafia's 2011 Do-It-Yourself Trunk Show at Broadway Armory Park on Saturday, Nov. 19. The annual market features Chicago crafters of many mediums, hawking ceramics, jewelry, clothing and art. It's like Etsy became a mall for a day. This is the ninth year the Chicago Craft Mafia has put together the DIY Trunk Show, and it keeps on getting bigger. Check out the list of artists and vendors and read the DIY blog to find out more about them. While you shop, you can also enjoy coffee and food from nearby restaurants Uncommon Ground, Indie Cafe, Nookies, The Loving Hut and Ras Dashen Ethiopian Restaurant.
