If you dig movies with super corny dialog, exquisitely bad acting, sub-par special effects and sets that fall over as actors move through the scenery, then boy do we have the film festival for you. In the tradition of one of our favorite shows, Mystery Science Theater 3000, A&O Productions and Northwestern University present B-Fest 2012, a film festival that brings together some of the strangest, campiest and thoroughly iconic B-Movies.

Much like Mystery Science Theater 3000 audience participation is not only appreciated but encouraged. Feel free to take pot-shots during films that range the gamete of fine cinema like Ed Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space and the heralded classic from one of our generation's greatest actors, Vanilla Ice's Cool As Ice.

Northwestern's B-Fest Players will bring extra merriment to the festivities with door prizes and some onstage theatrical antics. And what would a B-Movie festival be without a sing-along to The Wizard of Speed and Time? You can check out the full lineup here.

B-Fest, Jan. 27-28, 2012, Norris University Center, 1999 South Campus Drive, Evanston. Tickets are $35; $20 for students.
