Franklin Tap kicks off a week-long celebration of Repeal Day with $4 pints of Batch 19 lager and $5 Templeton Rye Midwest Rye Cider, Whiskey Smash and Manhattan cocktails. Templeton Rye brand ambassador Michael Killmer will be meeting and greeting with guests from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. (325 S. Franklin St.)
Wine Tasting
Vino 100 Chicago is hosting a holiday wine tasting tomorrow and Dec. 13 from 7:30-9 p.m. Guests are invited to sip and swirl ten different wines while they learn the best wine pairings for the holidays and enjoy small bites as they mix and mingle to holiday music. The cost for the tasting is $15 and guests will also receive a $5 coupon to use on any purchase in the store that evening. Additionally, all guests who attend will be entered to win a private event (value up to $250) at Vino 100 Chicago. (2711 N. Elston Ave.)
